Canonical wage state is the wage economic condition represented under declared policy, jurisdiction, time, evidence, computation and issuer-authority bindings so that the represented condition can be located, tested, replayed and relied upon within its declared scope.
State and object are distinct
Canonical wage state is the represented economic condition. The Canonical Wage State Object is the formal immutable object representing that condition. The state, the object and the Computed Wage value are related but are not identical.
Canonical Wage State Object
The Canonical Wage State Object is an immutable, machine-readable economic state object representing a Computed Wage and carrying the required bindings to time, jurisdiction, policy, issuer authority and computation fingerprint.

Governed Wage State is the broader condition of wage meaning being controlled and replayable. Canonical wage state is the represented economic condition under declared bindings. The Canonical Wage State Object is the normative machine-readable object representing that state.
